Do I need to get the permits myself, or do you handle that?
We take the paperwork off your plate. Our team handles the application process for local demolition permits and ensures all work complies with city or parish ordinances.
How long does it usually take to demo a house or trailer?
The actual “knock-down” phase is surprisingly fast, usually 1–2 days. However, the full process (including site prep, utility disconnection, and debris removal) typically takes 1–2 weeks. Large-scale land clearing depends entirely on the acreage and density of vegetation.
What happens to the utilities (water, gas, electricity)?
Safety is our priority. All utilities must be capped and disconnected before we begin. We coordinate with local utility companies to ensure everything is safely shut off at the street or meter, so there’s no risk of leaks or electrical hazards during the demo.
Can you clear land without removing every single tree?
Absolutely. We offer selective clearing. If you have specific “keeper” trees or natural buffers you want to maintain for privacy or landscaping, we mark those off and work carefully around them to preserve the integrity of your lot.
Is the debris recycled, or does it all go to a landfill?
We try to be as eco-friendly as possible. We sort materials on-site whenever feasible, diverting concrete, wood, and metal to recycling facilities.
Are you licensed and insured?
This is the most important question! Yes, we are fully licensed and carry comprehensive general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We’re happy to provide copies of our certificates upon request.
Do you provide "rough grading" after the land is cleared?
Yes! We don’t just leave you with a hole in the ground. Once the structure or brush is removed, we level the area and provide rough grading to ensure proper drainage, leaving the site ready for your next project or for a fresh layer of topsoil.
How much does demolition or clearing cost?
Pricing is based on the square footage of the structure, the type of material (brick vs. wood), and the density of the land. We provide free, no-obligation estimates after a quick site visit to assess the access points and debris volume.
How long is the estimate good for?
Generally, we hold prices for 30 days. When the markets are volatile, we can only hold prices for a week.
